Eldon Charles Demott. Identified by my aunt as being the son of 'Aunt Ethel' Photos 1 and 2 taken same day. Photos say 'Kansas City, Mo'.
Photo 3 says 'age 9 weeks'. Photo taken by Davis Studio, Alamosa, Colorado.
Photo 4 says 'Eldon C Demott, age 3 yrs 10 mos'.
Photo 5 is Ethel Roberts Demott and son Eldon Charles. I think the man is probably Eldon Demott, her husband.

mar-013.jpg Although unidentified, I am reasonably certain that the gentleman is Finis Ewing Marlowe and I believe the woman to his left is his wife. The other women are undoubtedly their siblings and the baby is probably their oldest son, Howard, born 1890.

Frances is Nellie Frances, my grandmother. She was born 22 Oct 1901, so this photo would have been taken in early 1902.

John Wesley "Pa" Roberts and his wife Ella Barbara Collogan "Ma" Roberts. Taken probably in the early 40's. Ella died 29 June 1943 in Alamosa, Colo. I don't know who the children or the woman is but undoubtedly one of their daughters with their children.

The Family Home in Maplewood Mo. Mary Ophelia Dow Thornton lived here. Died leaving the home to Fredrick Thornton. Fred died leaving it to sisters Bess & Nellie. Nellie went into a nursing home leaving Amos Burger Thornton & Bessie Thornton. He went into a nursing home leaving Bessie alone. They then rented the home where (____ unable to read_____) to be 94. Bessie lived to be 99. The house was owned and occupied by the Thornton family for 62 years. These were ancestors of Nancy.

unk-001.gif I think this is probably Mary Izetta (Thornton) Marlowe, wife of Finis Ewing Marlowe, but I'm not positive.
